By accepting the HCCHA Mini-Grant, I agree to:

Acknowledge the Heart of Chesapeake Country Heritage Area and Maryland Heritage Areas Authority (using the organizations' logos) in any materials and publicity for the project funded by the mini-grant. OR, if the grant is for professional development, submit a summary of the experience for the Heritage Area website.

Complete a mid-project progress report by Feb. 27, 2026. - if you have not already submitted the final report. (Progress report should include the status of the project, including explanation of any delays or changes in the timeline or scope, and the expected completion date.)

Complete a final report, providing copies of paid invoices and expenditure receipts by Aug. 26, 2026. (The project must be complete and the final report submitted before the mini-grant payment will be processed.) Final reports for professional development grants will include a summary of the program and its benefits. The final reports for project grants will include enough detail to explain the project to someone unfamiliar with it; statistics, if applicable, for example, the number of people attending an event, number of brochures printed, amount made from ticket sales, etc.; and a description of the impact of the project and how it contributed to your organization, to the Heritage Area and to the community as a whole.

Prepare a display about your project for the annual HCCHA Heritage Awards Reception in 2025 and/or 2026.
