Join us for a unique opportunity to explore a traveling exhibit for **one day only**! Discover the rich history of African Americans along the US/Mexico border during the Civil War era. This remarkable exhibit has been designed, developed, and produced by the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s CHAPS (Community Historical Archaeology Project with Schools) Program in Edinburg, Texas. Enjoy a featured presentation at 1:00 pm by Roseann Bacha-Garza, professor and projects director of the CHAPS Program at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. This program is in collaboration with our partners at the Harriet Tubman Museum and Education Center.
