Thunder on the Choptank Powerboat Races

Come on out and bring the whole family for two days of boat racing _ the APBA Eastern Divisionals – and experience action-packed racing on the Choptank River. 

The best viewing area is right from the banks of Gerry Boyle Park at Great Marsh in Cambridge, Maryland offering many spots for viewing the races. Spectators can watch the dozen of racing classes, including hydroplanes, from the bleachers, the park grounds, or from their own boats rafted at Rooster Point. Also on site is lots of great food and drinks to make it a fun day for the whole family. 

Free admission for watching. $5 per car for parking.
Racing runs about 11am to 5pm both Aug 29 and 30, 2026.
Bleacher seating will be available or bring your own chairs. No coolers allowed.
