Kids Fishing Derby

Bring your kids to the Kids Fishing Derby hosted by the Mid-Shore Fishing Club on Aug. 1 from 9am to 12pm at Long Wharf Park in Cambridge, MD. The event is free and open to kids ages 5 to 12, though pre-registration is required.  Bait and tackle are provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own rod and reel. There will be water and pizza for the kids starting around 11am. First and second place prizes are awarded for the largest white perch, catfish, spot, and croaker.
