Christmas Train Garden
The Cambridge Rescue Fire Company Train Garden returns in 2026 for its 92nd consecutive year! Housed in the Old Firehouse on Gay Street, the Train Garden is a Cambridge Christmas tradition like no other.
Gaze in wonder at the displays, seek out hidden fun on the layouts, and enjoy their locally famous popcorn. The displays are put together by volunteers with the Rescue Fire Company volunteer fire company of Cambridge.
Then get some holiday shopping done in the many wonderful Downtown Cambridge shops and dine at the restaurants who support the Train Garden, too!
For the month of December, the train garden is open daily, 6 to 9pm (closed on Christmas), with daytime hours from 1 to 4pm on Saturdays and Sunday. Free, but donations are encouraged.
Located at 307 Gay St., Cambridge, MD.
Special events throughout the season include:
Caroling with Anna Burgess: Dec. 3, 6-9pm
Bobby Reed Rocks the Train Garden: Dec. 10, 6-8pm
CoCo with the PoPo: Dec. 12, 1-4pm - Join Rescue Fire Company and Cambridge Police Department.
