Bull Roast to Honor Veterans and Support Crash Boat P-520
Here are two opportunities to honor our oldest veterans from WWII and the Korean War.
>> First, the crash boat P-520 will host a private cruise for the veterans and their guests, but the public is welcome to greet them, take photos with them, and send them off on the cruise starting around 10am Nov. 15 until the cruise departs at 11am. Gather at the Long Wharf in Cambridge.
>> Second, there will be a Bull Roast that evening from 6 to 9pm at the VFW in Cambridge. Show your support for our Veterans and the 85' WWII & Korean War US Army Air Force Patrol Boat (Crash Boat) P-520. Among the Veterans, they will be honoring WWII Veteran Otis Branon, the last WWII Crash Boat Veteran. He will discuss his service at the event. They'll also be honoring the late Cambridge resident, Lois K. Woodland "Spark". Spark served aboard the 85' Crash Boat P-564 with Lt. Walter Mess.
BBQ provided by Lil' Bitta Bull. Also an open cash bar supplied by the VFW. Enjoy an evening visiting and taking pictures with the Veterans, listening to their stories and testimonies. Proceeds will go to the Special Warfare & Rescue Vessel Foundation, Inc. a registered 501(c)(3).
