Patriotic Golf Cart Parade & Poker Run

Hoopers Island Volunteer Fire Company hosts a Patriotic Golf Cart Parade & Poker Run on July 4. Registration and food from 11am to 2pm at the fire company, 2756 Hoopers Island Rd., Fishing Creek, MD. Parade and Poker Run start at 2pm.  Parade awards and cash prizes for most patriotic, most revolutionary, Hoopers Island Patriot, best flag, best fire company.

Awards and prizes celebration at Old Salty’s Tiki Bar. 

Parade costs $10 per cart. Poker (for 18 and older) costs $25 per person. Best poker hand wins $6,000. 

Don’t have a golf cart? Rent one from Dorchester Auto Golf Cart Sales & Services; must call ahead to reserve at 410-228-5350 (ask for JJ).
