Experience small-town Eastern Shore charm at the annual Hurlock Fall Festival & Train Rides, held on the first Saturday of October in downtown Hurlock, Maryland.

Highlights include: 

  • Main Street Parade: Kick off the day at 10am with a classic small-town parade featuring marching bands, local floats, and vintage cars.
  • Historic Train Excursions: Board the vintage passenger cars at the Hurlock Train Station on Gay Street for a scenic round-trip ride through the countryside to Federalsburg. (Buy tickets in advance by calling the Town of Hurlock Office at 410-943-4181.)
  • Family Activities: Enjoy a farm petting zoo, pony rides, a strolling magician, and interactive children's exhibits.
  • Local Food & Crafts: Browse dozens of craft vendors near the station and grab classic festival fare, including pit beef from the local fire company, near the pavilion.
  • Music: Chainbreak Band, Last Call Band, DJ Buddy Bloom

Happening along Downtown Main Street and the Historic Train Station (107 Gay Street) in Hurlock.
