Dorchester Liberty Tree Planting

All are welcome to join in the planting of Dorchester County's Liberty Tree on April 20 at 11am at the Cambridge Women's Club, Sycamore Cottage, 417 High St., Cambridge, MD. 

The Maryland Liberty Tree project commemorates the 250th anniversary of American independence by planting genetically identical Liberty Tree seedlings in all 23 Maryland counties and Baltimore City by 2026. Using a surviving scion from Maryland’s original 1775 Liberty Tree, the initiative symbolizes resistance and civic responsibility, supported by state agencies, heritage organizations, and partners to honor Maryland’s revolutionary history.
