What’s happening at the Sail

We’re trying to make better use of our beautiful space at the Dorchester Visitor Center, home of the big landmark sail, so come out and join in the fun! Events are open to visitors and residents alike. Here’s what’s coming up:

  • YOGA: Every Monday at 7pm. For all levels. Led by Jaclyn Lang. Bring a mat. $10 per person. Class happens inside the Visitor Center. Details
  • STAND-UP PADDLEBOARDING: Classes range from basic lessons to sunset paddles to SUP yoga. This week: MONDAY, JUNE 27: SUP Fun at 9:30am; Beginner SUP Lesson at 6pm. THURSDAY, JUNE 30: Beginner SUP Yoga at 6pm. SATURDAY, JULY 2: Beginner SUP Yoga, 7:15am; SUP Yoga at 8:30am. Led by Over Board Paddle and Fitness LLC. Must reserve ahead of time at overboardfitness@gmail.com or 410-463-4350.
  • ZUMBA: New class starts July 7! Every Thursday at 9am. Led by an instructor from the Dorchester County YMCA. Free for YMCA members; $50 for 8 classes. Details
  • CONCERT:  Mike Elzey and Shea Springer perform at a FREE waterfront concert at 5:30pm on Friday, July 22. Bring a blanket; food available from Two Chicks Catering. Details

The Dorchester Visitor Center is located at 2 Rose Hill Place in Cambridge, MD, near the southwestern point of the Senator Malkus Bridge over the Choptank River.
