The Harriet Tubman Museum & Educational Center continues its live music series with the Terry Koger Quartet from 7 to 9pm on Nov. 13 at the Dorchester Center for the Arts. Performances are free to the public but they welcome a suggested donation of $20. Proceeds benefit the Harriet Tubman Museum & Educational Center.
Come spend the afternoon walking down Historic High Street in Cambridge, MD. Take in all the sights and sounds of this beautiful waterfront venue filled for the day with creative and unique artwork for show and sale. This juried fine arts event showcases painting, photography, ceramics, drawing/pastel, fiber/textiles, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, printmaking, sculpture, and watercolor creations; even heritage arts such as boatbuilding and blacksmithing. A little bit of everything! Once you’ve chosen an art treasure or two to enhance your visit a full array of food and refreshment vendors will be featured along with local musicians and performers providing entertainment for all ages. Rain or shine. Admission is free! Showcase is presented by the Dorchester Center for the Arts and the Dorchester County Arts Council and generously supported by the Nathan Foundation.
