Johnny's Tavern hosts T.C. Studios for a paint your pet's portrait workshop Nov. 3 at 6:30pm. Pre-payment required. Sip & eat while you paint your very own pet portrait painting at Johnny’s Tavern in East New Market, MD!  No artistic ability or experience required - anyone can do it. Each canvas/portrait will be pre-sketched for your convenience. Pre-registration is required.  All materials & step-by-step instruction are included! Food/drinks are not included in ticket price. Food & drinks can be purchased from the venue. ** Registration will be open through Oct. 27 while tickets are available. Race Through Historic Vienna

Mandala Pies 115 Old Ocean Gatweway, Vienna, MD

Mandala's Pies, a small artisan pie bakery, hosts a 5K race through historic Vienna, Maryland on Nov. 6. This will be a fun and relaxed 3.1 miles throughout the beautiful historic waterfront town of Vienna. Situated directly on the Nanticoke River, Vienna is located half-way between Salisbury and Cambridge, right off of Route 50.  Runners and walkers are welcome. Must finish the 3.1 miles within two hours. The course is leashed-dog friendly, wheelchair and stroller accessible. Start at Mandala Pies bakery (115 Old Ocean Gateway, Vienna, MD) with parking on site or close by. Emergency services on site and volunteers will offer water throughout the course and snacks after completion. This day is all about building community by getting your body moving in the fresh air. All participants get a race day t-shirt, slice of pie and water after completion of the race. Plan to stay after for more fun – including vendor booths of businesses and nonprofits, music, lunch options, and more.
