water moves us to create handcrafted ales
Our Dorchester County waters exert a strong pull. After a few years away, the water and beauty of the area enticed Dorchester natives J.T. Merryweather and Chris Brohawn back to open Realerevival Brewing in downtown Cambridge. They offer microbrews (including their own handcrafted ales named after Dorchester locales), tours of the brewing operation, and upscale pub fare, including sushi.
Summertime it would be on the water. Crabbing, fishing, hopping from beach to beach. Winter you have to get a bit creative. Fortunately, we have some of the best dining establishments in Maryland to fight those winter blues.
Favorite Spot to Take Friends From Out of Town
Downtown Cambridge for sure! Everyone loves to bar hop Main Street.
Off the Beaten Path
Breakfast at Cindy’s Eastside Kitchen (trust me). A Sunday drive through Southern Dorchester. Freshwater fishing at some of the local holes. (Plenty of great spots, although most tourists think there’s just the Choptank here). A paddle through Blackwater.
