Specializing in bow hunting of the elusive sika deer, which are native to the Chesapeake Bay region. Muddy Marsh is based in Dorchester County, MD, and has been guiding for sika deer since 1992 on 1,500-2,000 acres of private property. The stand sites consist of baited permanent locations as well as portable stands, allowing one to move with the rutting stags. Accommodations are available on the property. Sika rut occurs in October, but unlike whitetail hunting with its prime times, sika sightings and opportunities occur throughout the season. Muddy Marsh Outfitters is a group of dedicated bowhunters catering only to bowhunters.
