The Dorchester County Historical Society will be hosting its annual St. Paddy’s Day Tea on Friday, March 15 from 12-2 pm in the Meredith House, ca. 1760. Reservations are required as space is limited.

The cost is $30 for DCHS members and their guests and $35 for those who are not.

The Meredith House will be transformed into Wooley’s Pub and guests will be served accordingly. Costumed docents will serve a full tea, complete with Irish favorites including savories and decadent sweets. In addition, prepare to be entertained by the pub wenches and possibly a leprechaun. An Irish sing along always hits the right note. This year, local celebrity Charles Paparella (of WBOC-TV’s “Travels with Charlie”) will provide the musical and comical entertainment.

The Meredith House is located at 1003 Greenway Drive in Cambridge, Maryland, on the grounds of the Heritage Museums & Gardens of Dorchester, and there is plenty of parking. Visitors will also enjoy a tour of the other historic buildings on the property. Reserve your spot at 410-228-7953 or
