The Crawfish Boil & Muskrat Stew Fest is set for 1-6pm in the 300 block of High Street in Cambridge, Maryland (Just outside the High Spot Gastropub at 305 High St.). The outdoor event features live music with the great blues music of the Jimmy Cole Band, food, libations, and more. Plus, new this year, the Muskrat Leg Eating Contest at 4pm! (Registration begins Feb. 1 at the High Spot, 305 High St., Cambridge.)
The menu, prepared by Chef Patrick Fanning of High Spot, Stoked, and Rock Lobstah, includes crawfish boiled, crawfish cakes, and crawfish pie. Plus muskrat stew, muskrat tacos, smoked muskrat, and grilled cheese and muskrat sandwich. Hot dogs and burgers will also be on the menu for the less courageous.
This is an outdoor event. In the event of rain, festival-goers can take cover at the High Spot Gastropub, 305 High Street, Cambridge, MD.
The Crawfish Boil and Muskrat Stew Fest will be a ticketed entry, with a $5 admission charge. Proceeds benefit Downtown Cambridge (formerly known as Cambridge Main Street).
