Captain Andy McCown and his trio, Chesapeake Scenes, are a critically acclaimed folk group that use spoken word, poetry, song and story to pay tribute to people who live on the shores and work the waters. Bill Matthews, Tom Anthony and Captain Andy play bluesy guitar and incorporate harmonica and bass to provide an ever-changing line up of song and story of the Chesapeake Bay. Andy McCown will be curating a performance that highlights Dorchester County artists and waterways.
Admission is free for the program, which will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. on Oct. 25 at the Dorchester Center for the Arts.
