 s overwinter across Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge\, local\nfarmland\
 , and our own backyards – and discover simple steps to make\nyour garden
  a year-round shelter! Emily will bring her wonderful\nstorytelling to an 
 evening filled with community\, nature\, and fun.\n\nThis event will be he
 ld at the beautiful Layton's Chance Vineyard and\nWinery where we will hav
 e wine and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase\nand a charcuterie provided. 
 This event is a fundraiser for the Friends\nof Blackwater NWR\, and 10% of
  all wine sales will be donated to the\nFriends.\n\nTickets are required a

 er bio: Emily Zobel is the Agriculture Faculty Extension\nAssistant for Do
 rchester County. She received her B.S. in Ecology and\nM.S. in Entomology 
 from the University of Maryland College Park. Her\nthesis work focused on 
 the feeding and reproductive habits of the\nbrown marmorated stink bug on 
 vegetable crops. Prior to graduate\nschool\, she worked as a lab and field
  technician for the Entomology\nDepartment at the University of Maryland\,
  conducting research on\npesticides usage and sustainable agriculture prac
 tices.\n
