The Third Annual Mid-Shore is Going Purple Together event on Sept. 24, 2022 from 12 to 3pm will have free BBQ, Kona Ice, and t-shirts, in addition to a live DJ and band, bounce house, giveaways, and dozens of behavioral health providers from across the mid-shore. Supplies are limited, show up early and help us Go Purple against substance misuse! At Long Wharf, near High and Water Streets in Cambridge, MD.
The purpose of The Mid-Shore is Going Purple Together is to demonstrate that the mid-shore stands united against substance misuse, abuse, and overdose. Together, we can educate our community about substance use prevention and available resources. Together, we will save lives because we know that help is available and recovery is possible.
Dorchester County is joining all the Counties on the Eastern Shore again for September by going purple to raise awareness of the drug addiction and opioid crisis that is tightening its grip on our society. Join the Purple Movement to help to increase awareness and stop the stigma.
