South Dorchester Folk Museum presents Oak Grove Church History as presented by Lingan Spicer on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 beginning at 7pm. Lingan T. Spicer, “Lin”, raised in Golden Hill and involved in agriculture and forestry will tell how Oak Grove Church was started and almost collapsed, to the refurbished state it is in today. The South Dorchester Folk Museum (SDFM), in cooperation with the Dorchester County Historical Society, presents this FREE program in its lecture series about local history.
