Noon: A Park Ranger-led tour through the Visitor Center.
1:30 p.m.: Join Ranger Melissa at our pavilion and learn about the life and legacy of William Still and his contributions to the Underground Railroad.
2:00 p.m.: Join Ranger Joanna at our pavilion and learn about the life and legacy of James W. C. Pennington and how he used education and religion as his tools to fight for the abolitionist cause.
2:30 p.m.: A Tribute to Harriet Tubman: Please join us at our pavilion in welcoming the Takoma Academy Preparatory School Featuring Youth from Kindergarten and First Grade. As their choir performs a tribute to Ms. Harriet Tubman.Celebrate freedom and history this Juneteenth by visiting Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center.
