History of the Eagle Cam at Blackwater Refuge

On September 1, Dr. Harry Heckathorn, the Vice President of the Friends of Blackwater, will give a talk on the history of the Blackwater Eagle Cam, as well as offer insights on the entire wildlife camera operation that the Friends have been running for 20 years at the refuge.

The talk will be presented by the South Dorchester Folk Museum on September 1 at 7pm, and the event will be held at the Dorchester County Historical Society, Robbins Heritage Museum, located at 1003 Greenway Drive in Cambridge, Maryland.
