Celebrating Birds of Prey!
Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) is hosting its Eagle Festival the weekend of March 11, 2023 from 9am to 4pm. This free, family-friendly event is full of hands-on activities for the kids, birds-of-prey presentations with live eagles, owls and falcons. Join the Refuge tours in search of not only birds of prey but also ducks, geese, swans and heron. There will be live bird programs and eagle prowls together with activities for the children.
