Tickets are now available for the 10th annual Crawfish Boil & Muskrat Stew Fest on May 1 from 12 to 7pm – featuring the one and only Muskrat Leg-Eating Contest! This wacky and fun event, moved from February to May, is happening outside at Long Wharf Park in Cambridge. Featuring multiple muskrat dishes (muskrat tacos, muskrat stew, and muskrat gravy fries, and more) and boiled crawfish straight from Louisiana (as well as more traditional food offerings for the less adventurous). The Muskrat Leg-Eating Contest starts around 6pm.
Plus live music by Bird Dog & the Road Kings, blues legend Jimmy Cole and his band, and Uncle Ward. And a Kentucky Derby hat contest, kids entertainment (including Cascading Carlos), and vendors. Bring your own chairs and table! $5 per ticket; benefits the Dorchester Chamber Scholarship Fund.
Buy tickets in advance or at the door.
