 AND FOREVER FREE!”: COLLECTIVE REFLECTIONS ON\nAMERICAN FREEDOM\n\nA day
  of special programming presented by Wild Seed Productions LLC\ncalled “
 Thenceforward and forever free!”: Collective Reflections\non American Fr
 eedom. From 11am-3pm\, there will be a creative arts and\nhistory workshop
 . The public is invited to drop in and partake in a\nvisual design activit
 y\, paper crafts\, collage\, group dialogue\, and\ncreative writing. At 1p
 m\, local theater artist and Founder of Soul\nShine Theater Garden\, Sisi 
 Reid\, will perform excerpts from her new\none-woman show \"Ya Dig.\" The 
 performance will be followed by a poetry\nshare\, communal storytelling\, 
 and the reveal of a “North Star\nSculpture” in honor of Juneteenth and
  our North Star\, Harriet\nTubman. Activities will run all afternoon and f
 olks are welcome to\ndrop in and come and go as you please. All ages and s

 lack Heel Strings: A Choptank\nMemoir.\"\n\nIn this lyrical memoir\, Robin
  Michel Caudell meditates on memory and\nidentity as she traces her childh
 ood in a Black family navigating\npoverty and racism on the Delmarva Penin
 sula. Many know Frederick\nDouglass and Harriet Tubman’s exodus stories 
 out of bondage in rural\nMaryland\, but what about the people who stayed? 
 It is from this place\nand history that Caudell’s story begins. Growing 
 up in the\nsegregated 1960s\, Caudell is the living legacy of the ones who
  did not\nrun away and of the Free People of Color/Christianized Indians w
 ho\npartnered with their enslaved brethren in a precarious dance of love\n
 in Chesapeake Country. \n
