COVID-19 UPDATE FOR CAMBRIDGE YACHT BASIN:
As of May 14, 2020:
- They are fully open with all services: fuel, showers, etc.
- Fuel is currently $2 a gallon for both gasoline and diesel and will be that price for several weeks.
- Showers and bathroom are cleaned 3x daily; but they are encouraging boaters to use their onboard restrooms and showers due to the cost of cleaning supplies and labor for the public restrooms. As an incentive they will provide a free pump-out to both transient and permanent slip users.
The Cambridge Municipal Yacht Basin is located on the Choptank River near the mouth of Cambridge Creek. With a maximum depth of 13 feet, they are an ideal stop for boats large and small. The marina can take boats up to 200ft, making it an ideal stop for super yachts planning a visit to the Chesapeake Bay.
