New York Times features Tubman Byway

The New York Times featured the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway in a major travel story in its Sunday, Feb. 26 edition. The Tubman Byway is a self-guided driving tour that winds 125 miles through Dorchester and Caroline Counties that includes 36 sites related to Harriet Tubman (born in Dorchester County) and the Underground Railroad. The story appears two weeks before the grand opening of the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center. Read the interactive story.
