Free Admission at Blackwater Refuge

Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge offers free admission on November 11-12 in honor of Veteran’s Day weekend. The refuge includes more than 27,000 acres of marshland and forest as well as the four-mile Wildlife Drive, which can be enjoyed by car, by bicycle, or on foot. The drive offers great views of dramatic marshland and wildlife such as bald eagles, ducks, geese, osprey, egrets, Delmarva fox squirrel, and more. Learn more on the Blackwater website.
